Auction Terms & Conditions All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. The descriptions of all items shown in the Catalogue are believed to be accurate, but not warranted. Bidder is encouraged to request additional or photos prior to bidding. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have obtained the additional information of the items to their satisfaction, and accept the lot as described. All items are sold as is, where is, with no guarantees or warranties (express or implied). Bytown Estate Sales makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of catalogue descriptions and auctioneers' statements regarding condition and vintage, but these statements are not warranted. You must rely solely upon your own judgment regarding the condition and authenticity of each item. Occasionally, information concerning an item may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. Bytown Estate Sales reserves the right to correct such information at any time and shall not incur any liability as a result. It is your responsibility to review current information regarding an item prior to bidding. The bidder cannot retract or cancel a confirmed bid. Bytown Estate Sales reserves the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion. Bidder must be at least 18 years of age to place a bid. Bytown Estate Sales reserves the right to nullify any bid where it is determined to have been placed by a minor. Online items may have a minimum starting bid as displayed on the online catalogue. Online bids lower than minimum will not be accepted. A Buyer's Premium of 15% and 13% HST will be charged on all winning bids unless otherwise stipulated. Payment is due at the end of auction. All items must be PAID IN FULL within 24hrs of receiving invoice. Failure to pay for hyour invoice will result in a negative HiBid score. Payment types accepted : ETransfers, Visa / Mastercard on site (3.4% processing fees will be added to total invoice) Pick up and removal of your items MUST be made ON DATES SPECIFIED unless special arrangements have been made with Bytown Estate Sales. Please bring assistance with your for large items. Bidder is responsible for all movement of purchased items and furniture. Please ensure you have all the items you have successfully purchased. If you notice something is missing, please alert one of the staff immediately. By departing from the pickup site you are deemed to have all your items and that you are satisfied with them. Any items left after Saturday April 1st at 12:00pm EST will become the property of Bytown Estate Sales. Failure to pick up will result in a $75 charge to your account . "Unclaimed" items will be considered "surrendered" to Bytown Estate Sales. The "surrendered" items will be donated or resold to the account of Bytown Estate Sales. No notice will be given. By registering as a buyer, you agree that neither we (nor the seller) are liable to you for any damage to the item you purchased, your other personal property, or for injurey or death unless injury or death is caused by our (or the sellers') negligence. Please take care of yourself and your items as you have released us (and the Seller) from liability. All Sales are Final, NO Exceptions!
