Auction Notice: Due to the current events that have unfolded regarding COVID-19 and the new "Stay at Home" orders issued by the Province of Ontario, Mr. Big Deals has made some changes to our weekly pick-up procedures and schedule and added some new services to help those who will be staying at home and following the orders put in place by our Government. As a "non-essential" service as defined by the Provincial Government, Mr. Big Deals is still able to operate but has been given some extremely strict guidelines in which we will be able to continue to operate and offer you the safest shopping and pick-up experience possible. 1. Effective IMMEDIATELY, by appointment curbside pickup is the only way we can serve you at our 2115 Midland Avenue location. We will no longer be able to offer drop-in pickups and you MUST HAVE A BOOKED APPOINTMENT to receive your goods. Without a booked appointment you will be turned away and asked to book an appointment through our online booking system found at https://mrbigdeals.setmore.com. If you come at the wrong date or time you will be asked to come back at your booked time. This is to assure we are providing the safest contact free pickup experience possible for everyone. 2. Mr. Big Deals is encouraging everyone to follow the "Stay at Home" orders put in place by our government, so we have negotiated an outstanding rate for local delivery of your items with one of our delivery partners. Mr. Big Deals does not profit of the shipping rates and do not charge any handling fees for this service. You are charged what we are charged. Effective immediately if you live in the GTA borders of Mississauga, Brampton, Woodbridge, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Pickering and south to Lake Ontario we can offer you delivery of your items for a low $15.00 plus HST for a box up to 30lbs in weight and dimensions of 22" x 18" x 13". That is an exceptionally large Amazon type box, and we can place as many items from your order in these boxes as possible up to 30lbs. Each additional box up to the same size and from the same order will be an additional $3.00 plus HST per box. We believe this is an outstanding rate for local delivery and your items will be delivered directly to your door within a few days after the end of the auction except for apartment buildings where you will have to come down and accept your items from the delivery driver. If you live in areas outside the locations, we have mentioned above (e.g., Milton, Oakville, Newmarket, Whitby, Oshawa & Courtice) we can still offer the local delivery service, but you will need to call or email us to get rates specific to your location. 3. Until furhter notice, Mr. Big Deals will be waiving our late pickup/administration fee and will hold items here for you if you choose to not use the curbside pickup or local delivery option. We are strongly encouraging you to have your items delivered as we have very little space here for excess items and if the situation becomes too dire for space, we will have no choice but to suspend our operations until these "Stay at Home" orders have ended. We would appreciate your co-operation in not choosing to leave items here and take advantage of the amazing rates for delivery we have negotiated; we also want to respect each person's choice and are willing to do our best to accommodate everyone we can. 4. We will continue offer shipping services to locations outside of the local delivery area and no changes will happen to those who wish to have their items shipped by a shipping service like Purolator, CanPar, UPS or Fedex. In our efforts to keep with social distancing protocols we ask that you remain inside your vehicle until our staff members give you the, all clear to begin loading your vehicle. Once you have loaded your vehicle, we ask that you clear the pickup area as soon as possible so we can service the next appointment. We kindly ask that you only arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive early or see that another vehicle is in the loading area, please remain in your vehicle until we can serve you. If you are gong to be late or cannot make your appointment, we ask that you cancel and re-book a new pickup appointment as we cannot guarantee we will be able to serve you. Priority will be given to those who arrived on time for their scheduled appointment. We encourage payment in advance with credit card, Visa debit, email transfer or PayPal. Cash transactions can now be accepted provided we are informed of your intent to pay with cash in advance of your arrival. Our cashier will always use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer immediately after handling money. We ask if you have any signs of COVID-19 or you are feeling unwell that you postpone your appointment for another date. Shipping is available for any item that has the "SHIPPING AVAILABLE" icon in the item listing. If you do not see this icon, we will not be able to ship your order. Shipping rates are determined by the size, weight, and destination the order is being shipped to. We are unable to provide shipping quotes until after the close of the auction. Mr. Big Deals does not charge a handling fee for items being shipped. You pay what we are charged by our shipping partners.
